A Walk-through of Our Process
Discovery
Discovery is the single, most important step in ensuring we understand your needs and expectations for your website.
We will schedule a call with you and your key stakeholders to learn about your goals and intended audience(s). We will also discover as much as possible about the specifics of your web project.
After discovery, we will have an accurate idea of the features you want, a sense of your visual preferences, and the basis for a project plan
Content
Complete, accurate website content – including copy, photos, logos, etc, is critical to keeping your project on schedule.
If your site will include original photography, we will work with you on the specific requirements and assist, if needed, in arranging a photo shoot.
If your team is providing the content, you should begin gathering/ creating it as soon as possible.
Content is essential in moving forward to the development phase.
Design + Revision
Based on the information gathered during our discovery session and the content you have provided, we will develop and present two inspiration boards for your review. These are not refined designs, but “swatch boards” representing potential visual styles, fonts, colors and overall feeling for your site. You will review these visual boards and choose the one you like the most.
Based on your chosen inspiration board, we will revise and refine this inspiration board until we come up with the perfect design for you.
Development
We will convert your approved design, custom develop your website and integrate it into the agreed-upon CMS or platform.
We will set up an area on a development server where you can view your site’s progress and see functionality that could not be mocked up in the design comps (e.g. animations).
Your website will then be tested on and supported by the most common browsers: Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari and Google Chrome.
Launch + Maintenace
This is the part where we launch your website! We will migrate your website from the development server to a live server.
You now get to show off your brand personality, and your visitors get a chance to instantly engage with you and your brand. Your website creates the potential for a long-term relationship with your audience, that works for both you and your business.
You are guaranteed maintenance during the first three months after your website is launched and handed over to you.

How long does it take to design and develop a new business website?

How can we get our business to rank higher in Google Searches
For your site to rank higher on Google and other search engines, we recommend having a well implemented SEO or SEM plan. Schedule a call with us and we can discuss ways to get your business ranking higher and attract more visitors.
Do you also host websites?
We surely do! The great thing about hosting with us, is we choose the hosting service that best fits your website bandwidth and processor needs. You will also never have to worry about pesky updates or hackers!
Do you offer free online consultations?
We can offer an initial call where we will discuss your web design goals and determine whether it makes sense to continue the conversation.
Which do you prefer? Squarespace or Wix?
Web builders like Squarespace and Wix are cool but they have their limitations. Their cookie-cutter designs are quite limited with components that you aren’t allowed to change, leaving you saying “it just doesn’t look right”. What maintenance packages do you offer?
We currently offer 1 maintenance package. This package is best suited for companies whose websites are automated and won’t be needing daily updates. These updates are billed at an hourly rate or on a monthly retainer.
If you are going to be doing regular updates to your website, we can discuss integrating a Content Management System into your website, so your internal team can make those updates quickly and easily.
